Montauk
(In collaboration with Mark Reynolds)
A once understated coastal bungalow in the eastern end of Long Island was reimagined to reflect the lively, fun-loving nature of its owners while preserving the relaxed elegance of northeastern beach life. The design centers around a sculptural fireplace and built-in living unit that anchors the open floor plan — serving as both the heart of the home and a visual connector between its gathering spaces.
Large retractable glass doors dissolve the boundary between indoors and out, opening the main living area to the expansive deck and ocean beyond. Glossy, white-paneled ceilings bounce light and subtly mirror the movement of the surrounding water, infusing the interiors with a sense of freshness and fluidity.
A palette of soft whites, natural woods, and marine blues reinforces the home’s connection to its coastal setting, creating a retreat that is as joyful and spontaneous as it is timeless.

A Montauk bungalow transformed into a light-filled, modern coastal home infused with warmth and personality.
